I think it is important to note that in a good quality ferret food it should contain a minimum of 31% meat based protein, 17% fat and a maximum of 3% fiber. Low-quality pet foods may also contain grain-based proteins, which ferrets cannot properly digest. It is not advised to feed low quality food to your ferret.
